Eric and Ernie

Eric and Ernie are Cockapoos, Eric is 2 and a half years old and Ernie is 6 months old. Kay told us that they live in their Cafe for most of the day and are very friendly with the customers, including ladies who bring them doggy treats.

They enjoy walks at Bowleaze Cove, Weymouth and Hardy’s Monument and once the weather gets better they will be at the beach.

Buddie

This Golden Retriever walks at Upton Country Park, Hamworthy Park, Whitecliff Park and Parkstone Heights.

You can find out about these and more great places to walk and explore on the Out & About pages.

Ollie

Ollie the Labradoodle regularly walks at Canford Cliff Beach, Whitecliff Park, Alexandra Park, Branksome Beach and other areas around Poole.

Helen says that they have been finding new dog friendly places to have a tea/coffee, snack or lunch and a bowl of water for Ollie.

Whether you’re looking for somewhere to eat after a lovely long walk or simply don’t want to leave your dog at home then check out the Dog Friendly pages.

Taz

Taz the Parsons Jack Russell lives with Pickle the Fox Terrier.

Wendy told us that she has had Taz from a puppy. He has a lovely personality and gets on well with other dogs.

Taz and Pickle regularly walk at Upton Country Park and Hamworthy Park.

and Pickle

Pickle joined the family just before Christmas and has settled in well and become best buddies with Taz. Pickle loves exploring new smells and digging tree roots and Taz will usually hold back and wait for her. Taz will usually go up to another dog and sniff them, while Pickle will hold back to see what the other dog is like.

Both Taz and Pickle love chasing around at top speed.

Lola

Lola is a mixed breed rescue puppy with some sort of Shepherd in her. Codie says she is coming out her shell each and every day, she is very playful and loves socialising with other dogs!

She likes going for walks on the beach but isn’t the biggest fan of water just yet.

Rocky Crocky

Rocky the Parsons Jack Russell is a very active dog who loves to play with balloons.

He would recommend Poole and Sandbanks as great dog walking sites.

Scooby

Scooby loves walking anywhere by the sea as well as in Delph Woods, Hamworthy Pier and Badbury Rings.

Sarah told us that Scooby is a lovely dog inside the home but as a Whippet / Dutch Shepherd cross, the Whippet in him makes walking off lead a bit challenging.

Honey

Honey is a Lurcher who lives with Ernie.

Ernie

Ernie the Shih Tzu cross and Honey’s favourite place to walk is the beach but they also enjoy walks at Ferndown Common, Cannon Hill and Ramsdown.

Kea & Noodle

Kea and Noodle live in the Midlands and get down to Dorset as often as they can. They get very excited when they arrive at their holiday home as they know they will be going on some great, exciting walks including Hengistbury Head and Nature Reserve.

You can become a member of Dorset Dogs whether you live in Dorset or visit. If you’re visiting there is lots of useful information on the website including the Dog Friendly and Out & About pages and the Wagipawdia – an encyclopaedic library.
