Love Dogs... Love Nature

Message from new member Anne

It's great to hear from our members, whether they are Dorset folk or one of the many visitors who enjoy Dorset with their dogs.  Here's a Christmas message from new members Anne, Alan and Cassie, who come all the way from county Durham to enjoy their holiday!

Cassie Collie

Hello Su and everyone at Dorset Dogs thank you so much for the fantastic package on joining Cassie into Dorset Dogs -   the information is fantastic and we have the sticker in the car which has prompted several people to enquire as to what it is . The disc we shall put on Cassie when we come for our first holiday of the year in May.

I hate this time of the year  walks get earlier and earlier just back from walking on the nearby fell where we return with not just a muddy collie but with green tinges as the highland cattle are there over the winter   no need to go into details !

I was horrified to see a warning in local supermarket advising people not to leave their dogs tied up outside supermarkets as some are being stolen to be used in dog fighting  possibly it is just in this area but maybe you could make people aware of it happening.

On a happier note we went back to the rescue kennels yesterday where we have Cassie from as had some money raised at a Fund raising stall I did they were delighted with her  - so busy as so many stray dogs now in their care  we also took lots of cup cakes I had made to keep them going !

... hope you all enjoy a wonderful Christmas  (we shall be on Alnmouth beach on Christmas Day with a picnic)  and we wish you every success with Dorset Dogs in the future

Kindest regards   Anne & Alan  & Cassie the Collie
