Taz and Flynn 1574

Taz & Flynn... Sept 2015 Dogs of the Month

Kim says "Flynn & Taz have 2 long walks each day and lots of play times together at home".

She lives in Muscliff, in walking distance of lots of great walks and a short drive from others.

One of her recommendations is the Stour Valley. That's one we'll be hearing a lot more about!  The River Stour actually stretches from east Dorset and right across north Dorset with varied and wonderful riverside walks.

In 2016 there will be a new Visitor Centre for the Stour Valley Local Nature Reserve.  Find out more about it - & events happening already - at www.facebook.com/stourvalleynature/

Taz 1574

Taz

He's Flynn's great friend as we can see, 4 years old and a rescued dog (last August).  He's a German Spitz.  As well as Stour Valley Nature Reserve he loves their walks at Muscliff Park, Redhill Common, St Catherine's Hill & Throop Mill.

Flynn 1574

Flynn

...and Flynn is a 4 year old blue merle Great Dane who Kim has had since he was 8 weeks old.

Bailey 1571

Bailey

This handsome 9 month old is a Saluki cross who is lucky enough to live in the Purbecks.  Jo says more dog bins needed!

Fergy 1572

Fergy

3 month old Fergy's a fan of the new off-lead fields at Upton Country Park - if you haven't been yet, check them out!

A stream, fields to play in off-lead and you can pop the lead on and go into the gardens around Upton House to visit the cafe too!

Sweeny 1576

Sweeny

Wow what an amazing photo!  Wonderful pose with Corfe Castle in the background and the wonderful rolling Purbeck Ridge.

Georgia says that this young collie loves swimming in the sea and regularly visits Hamworthy Park.

If you visit the coast around Studland and Poole Harbour make sure you keep your dog at a distance from any flocks of birds over the winter - find out why on our special Wagipawdia page!

Disney 1575

Disney

Another wonderful pose!  This charming lady is well travelled - she walks in lots of different places with Laura and some of you may recognise her if you go to training classes!

You can find regular training classes and walks as well as all sorts of events on our events pages.

Lottie 1555

Lottie

Last of the photo members but not least - Lottie what a gorgeous face!

She lives with Lynne in Woburn, Bedfordshire and loves to walk in the woods there.  She visits her Nanny Joy (human) in Swanage and Lynne says she just can't get enough of the beach and the sea!

Lottie is an August new member but her photo didn't get through last month - we couldn't leave her out!
