Canford Heath, Poole
Grid ref: SZ 030 956
One of Dorset’s largest areas of heath, around 850 acres, with a few areas of woodland. As part of the heath is on a ridge it gives great views across Poole Harbour. Some areas of the heath are grazed with Shetland cattle.
Dogs may be required to be on lead at times on part or whole of the site, due to breeding birds and grazing animals. At other times they may be able to be off lead.
