Festive sandbanks try aGAINSandbanks Main car park, beach road near BH13 7QQ

MEET AT THE FAR END OF THE MAIN CAR PARK NOT ON THE BEACH - IT'S TOO BIG WE MIGHT MISS YOU!

Note that this is a 10.30am start (not 11am like most of our weekend walkies)

A festive, free and friendly walk along the beach with Su & Anneke from Dorset Dogs to celebrate the season, the sea and the sand - do join us! (Free but there are parking charges for the car park)  Off lead walk. There will be mince pies!

We suggest bringing dog towels for sandy wet dogs after...or to protect your car! There is a self-service dog wash & dry machine there too!

The beach isn't suitable for pushchairs or wheelchairs, but if you need an accessible route you could come along and meet us at the beginning in the car park to pick up a free doggy goody bag then split off to walk along the prom.

Baiter walkies

Meet next to the car park at Whitecliff BH14 8ES
nb it's a car park at the junction of Sandbanks Road and Whitecliff Road - postcode alone may mislead you!

Join us for a friendly circular walkies around the linked parks of Whitecliff, Poole Park and Baiter. Blow away the cobwebs ready for the New Year!

A flat walk mainly on good paths, starting next to Whitecliff's car park. Join us for the whole walk or just part way. It's aimed for people with dogs but dogs aren't obligatory! Can't guarantee the weather as in the photo (I think that was in August...)

Cafe van (and toilets in the park) mean you can have a nice hot drink and a snack if it's a bit 'parky' on the day! The mobile cafe lady at Whitecliff is wonderful - dog-friendly and helps with food for the homeless on cold nights in Poole.

Agglestone walkMeet at Greenlands Track, next to the ferry road (on the bend half-way between the ferry and Knoll Beach car park. Park ferry road and walk carefully along to track if no room on layby.  You can download map of meeting point here

Join National Trust Ranger David with his dog Noah and Su & Anneke from Dorset Dogs for a friendly circular stroll across Godlingston Heath to the Agglestone Rock.

Don't forget those walking wellies/boots!  There will probably be some wet bits and whilst most of the route is fairly easy-going there are a couple of steep bits and steps near the rock. Layers according to weather.

Check out the photos from a previous year's walk here: Agglestone walkies photo album

Probably about an hour to an hour and a half.
