Dorset Dogs celebrate Dorset’s countryside with their 2000th Member!
BEAR is a gorgeous young German Shepherd who adores walks in Upton Country Park, he also loves the beach and meeting new friends.
We're thrilled that he has joined us as the 2000th member! He's already enjoyed some Dorset Dogs’ guided walkies; Su from Dorset Dogs commented “We actually knew he was the 2000th member at the last walk – but we had to keep it quiet until it was verified by our brilliant membership volunteers Linda & Tony – that was really hard!”. The walkies are all part of Dorset Dogs’ events programme which also includes information pit-stops and the annual Dorset Dogs Festival.
As 2000th member Bear has won a lovely portrait from local artist Katherine Cromwell, a special prize from Kris Knits, a free dog wash at Upton Country Park from Polygon Pets, £10 in vouchers from dog-friendly cafe Flirts in Bournemouth and a selection of tasty treats from Dorset Dog Delights.
Bear is only 8 months old and had a wonderful romp around Upton Country Park chasing his ball before his photoshoot, so he enjoyed it too!
