Come and welcome in the New Year with this great walk, different and surprising, come and check out the mysterious rock and enjoy the views on this friendly circular walk with local National Trust Ranger David. A doggy walk but dogs not obligatory! Wellies or waterproof boots probably are… Be aware there are some steep steps – bring a stick perhaps for those bits if you may be a bit unsteady? But they are after we’ve reached the Stone so if you want to avoid the muddiest bits and the steps you could join us for the walk to Agglestone then leave us and retrace the route for the return journey. Probably about an hour to an hour and a half.

Dorset Dogs walkies are a chance for dogs to enjoy each others company – and for their humans to do the same!

At this time of year we also highlight the need to be aware of how to help flocks of coastal birds who may have a hard winter ahead – it’s mainly about keeping ourselves and our dogs at a distance so they can rest and feed without frequent disturbance (not just from dogs but walkers, fishers, bait diggers, boats…) help us by taking a 7 question survey and find out how else you can help them https://www.dorsetdogs.org.uk/wagipawdia/dogs-birds-around-our-winter-coasts/
