Meet NOT in the main car park but by the dog walkers’ car park opposite Pony Drive off Poole Road, Upton BH16 5SU.
FREE & friendly informal guided walkies exploring the country park, mainly across the off-lead fields. There are good paths with some slopes and a shallow ‘dog splash in one set of fields, a shallow stream in the other set, plus a woodland area.
Did you know there is an automatic dog wash machine here too!
A great walk for this time of year if you’re looking for places your dog can have a good off-lead run – on heaths, downs and wetlands some rarer birds who nest on the ground are rearing young so we need to keep our dogs on paths in those areas – at Upton Country Park off-lead fields they can run freely off the paths.
