A fun, free and friendly walk along the beach to celebrate the sea and the sand – do join us! (Free but there are parking charges for the car park) Off lead walk.
Dorset Dogs walkies are a chance for dogs to enjoy each others company – and for their humans to do the same!
We suggest bringing dog towels for sandy wet dogs after…or to protect your car! There is a self-service dog wash & dry machine there too give it a try!
The beach isn’t suitable for pushchairs or wheelchairs, but if you need an accessible route you could come along and meet us at the beginning in the car park to pick up a free doggy goody bag then split off to walk along the prom.
At this time of year we also highlight the need to be aware of how to help flocks of coastal birds who may have a hard winter ahead – it’s mainly about keeping ourselves and our dogs at a distance so they can rest and feed without frequent disturbance (not just from dogs but walkers, fishers, bait diggers, boats…) help us by taking a 7 question survey and find out how else you can help them https://www.dorsetdogs.org.uk/wagipawdia/dogs-birds-around-our-winter-coasts/
