A Schnauzerfest walk will take place on Studland Beach on Saturday October 12th, bringing together local dogs, their humans and other canine friends.
Schnauzerfest is an annual event, made up of many separate walks all on the same weekend in October. From small walks to larger ones, each takes place with two aims – FUN and FUNdraising.
Since 2014, Schnauzerfest has raised over £160,000, which has all gone to the Diana Brimblecombe Animal Rescue Centre (DBARC) based in Berkshire, who specialise in providing loving care and veterinary treatment for schnauzers who have experienced the terrible conditions of puppy farms and other rough backgrounds.
This walk on Studland Beach will be the sixth and will include a bake sale of doggie and human treats, a raffle with some amazing prizes generously donated, a fantastic local photographer to capture all the fun of the day and an expected number of around 80 Schnauzers and honorary doggie friends – oh yes and their humans!
Meet in the area by the National Trust Cafe and Toilets.
