West Moors. Meet at Woolslope Close entrance BH22 0PF. Please park considerately, there are car parks in West Moors or park on the larger residential roads such as Woolslope Road rather than the Close. Look on maps first as postcodes are useful for sat nav but can be misleading!
Even if you are local to West Moors area this may be a new and exciting find for you!
Off-lead fields with paths, trees and a stream, about an hour or so.
Nearest loo 5 mins away by car by the way, Parkway (road) car park in West Moors, BH22 0HL.
A great walk for this time of year if you’re looking for places your dog can have a good off-lead run – on heaths, downs and wetlands some rarer birds who nest on the ground are rearing young so we need to keep our dogs on paths in those areas – at Woolslope off-lead fields they can run freely off the paths. Sometimes grazing cattle may be on a part of the site to manage the vegetation, if they are there will be notices so we know to keep dogs on leads in that area, other parts of the site will still be available for off-lead exercise.
