Breach Lane & Bimport, Shaftesbury
Grid ref: ST 855 277 4.86 hectares
Chalk downland bordered by steep slopes and a housing estate. It has a compacted stone path that crosses the site with entrance ways also surfaced. It has a deep pond and a Scheduled Ancient Monument. There are steps that lead up to Bimport (top of site), which has two benches for people to have a rest on due to the length of the steps. There is a steep slope to access the ancient monument on the other side of the site. This becomes very slippery in wet weather.
Dogs may be off-lead on the site provided they are under close control.
