North-east of Weymouth, it is 1 mile (1.6 km) from Weymouth town centre. Take the A353 to Wareham.

The large reedbed, open water, saltmarsh, wet grassland and bushes attract many different birds. Bearded tits and Cetti's warblers can be seen all year and autumn migration can be spectacular, with hundreds of swallows, martins and wagtails, as well as lots of wading birds.
Dogs are only allowed on public footpaths and bridleways and must be kept on a lead on the Nature Reserve.
Please pick up your dog's waste. Note: There are no dog waste bins provided on site.
